OMG has brought on board Hassan Shoker, previously senior director – trading, Mindshare MENA, as its new head of investments at PHD in Dubai. He joined the agency on 4 January 2015, replacing Elie Bachaalani who shifted to OMD UAE in the same capacity.
Hassan was at Mindshare for close to a decade, rising from media executive to director. In his new role, he will capitalise on his investment management experience, including in the area of digital, said a note from OMG.
“PHD is an agency I’ve had my eye on for a while now and its evolution was too fascinating to resist. I have joined the agency of the future, the one with the winning formula of digital at the core, and I am very excited about what is ahead of us,” Hassan said.
“Hassan not only brings with him a very strong experience of the market but also an attitude, a mindset that is very close to ours,” added Elda Choucair, managing director of PHD UAE. “We value this as much as his technical capabilities and I know he is a great addition to our team.”
